Bespoke—this is the best way to describe the Rolls-Royce brand these days. Beyond being just a motor car marque, the Spirit of Ecstasy symbolizes the utmost in personalized mobility. Such has been the case, especially during the year that was, the year 2017.

Take Sweptail as an example. This number draws inspiration from 1920s and 1930s Rolls-Royce cars and realizes one client’s dream of a truly unique creation. Its panoramic glass roof, complemented by a tapered rear end pays homage to the world of racing yachts.

Then there are the Dawn and Wraith at Porto Cervo. Launched in honor of Summer at Porto Cervo, Sardinia, This pair was created to capture the beauty of this island paradise.

Speaking of the Rolls-Royce Dawn, Bespoke Design created a host of one-off examples that each cater to their discriminating patrons’ tastes. There is the Dawn B50 for Hotel Byblos, and the Dawn in Fuxia. The latter was specially designed for collector Michael Fux, who commissioned his tenth Bespoke model, this time finished in a unique shade of Fuchsia.

This being Rolls-Royce, the Ghost naturally has its place in the Bespoke world. The Ghost Spirit of Calligraphy pays tribute to the art of Arabic Calligraphy.

And of course, the eighth-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom continues the long-standing tradition that this motor car started some 113 years ago. What makes this car truly special, among other things, is The Gallery, a glass panel that lets patrons express their individuality via art, imagery, or any form they please.

Yes, the year 2017 was truly the year of Bespoke.
