Inside Racing, a popular motorcycle-related media outlet in the Philippines recently held its 12th Bike Fest and Trade Show. It took place last March 23 to 25 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Similar to the Manila International Auto Show for cars, SUVs, and trucks, this bike fest and trade show served as the avenue for motorcycle enthusiasts to converge and shop around for new rides and accessories. As such, a number of motorcycle manufacturer, accessories, and apparel brands brands turned up for the event. These include Suzuki and KTM, Japanese and Austrian motorcycle makers, respectively.

The former displayed an elaborate booth that’s highlighted by its latest wares such as the Raider R150, V-Storm, and the GSX-S. Furthermore, it featured the Raider R150 FI and the GSX-R 1000R. In review, the 2 aforementioned models were cited by the Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI) as the 2017 Motorcycle of the Year Philippines (MOTY-P) Commuter Class and Leisure Class winners, correspondingly. Finally, the Suzuki booth also had an area where custom bikes were displayed.

The latter, on the other hand, didn’t skimp on booth design as it featured its signature orange, white, and black color themes to highlight its line of KTM bikes. These include the 200 Duke, 390 Duke, RC200, RC390, and the newly-launched 790 Duke. KTM claims that the 790 Duke is Austria’s sharpest street weapon. It’s built under the brand’s Ready to Race DNA and runs with a 105 hp 87 Nm engine.

Another of KTM’s attractions is the unveiling of its latest customer roadside assistance program which was made possible via partnership with Ibero Asistencia. In brief, this program provides KTM owners nationwide with comprehensive roadside assistance services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for an introductory price of P999.

Lastly, KTM launched its inaugural Zero2Podium program. It’s a motorcycle riding clinic that’s offered to those who bought new KTM motorcycles during the course of the event. It will take place at the Clark International Speedway and Batangas Racing Circuit, and will be led by Joey Rivero, a former PSBK Factor Racer. It will tackle science-based motorcycle riding dynamics, motorcycle safety, and more.

Aside from Suzuki and KTM, various other motorcycle brands graces the occation. Some of these include Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Ducati, Ropali, among others.
