Suzuki Philippines has reported strong sales over the past few months leading up the close of 2019. So it comes as no surprise that the Japanese compact vehicle maker reported a 21.17 percent sales growth during the previous year.
The strong showing was led by the Ertiga, Vitara, and the Celerio. The best-selling Ertiga registered a 34 percent market share. This was followed by the Vitara with 11 percent, rounded out by the Celerio mini compact with 10 percent.
To ensure that Suzuki does well for the year 2020, it recently appointed Keichi Suzuki as Vice President and General Manager of its Automobiles Division. Mr. Suzuki hopes to replicate or even bettr the 2019 performance with new model launches, along with the opening of new dealerships and more aggressive campaigns.
It will be interesting to see how Suzuki plays the game in the year 2020. This should be something to watch out for.
