Thinking of Getting a New Mazda? Check Out the Adjusted Prices

Unless you’ve been vacationing on some island without Internet connection for the past few months, chances are that you’ve heard of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law that was implemented beginning on the first day of the New Year. In a nutshell, the new law imposes taxes on certain goods and services, including motorized vehicles.

Thanks to the higher taxes, major automakers have begun implementing price adjustments on their offerings. One of these is Mazda. Bermaz Auto Philippines, official distributor of Mazda vehicles in the country, announced that its lineup will have a slight retail price adjustment.

While BAP released the new prices, the Mazda distributor did point out that most of its models, such as the Mazda3, Mazda6, Mazda CX-3, and Mazda CX-9 will still be available at 2017 prices—until stocks last, that is. The Mazda2 subcompact sedan and hatchback, on the other hand, will come with either a rebate or 3-year Preventive Maintenance Service from the dealership.

So if you’re thinking of buying a Mazda, now might just be the best time to do so.
