So imagine Toyota’s motorsport arm, Gazoo Racing, getting its hands on it and transforming it into a sporty number. Enter the GR Sport Limited Edition Hilux, unveiled at the Sao Paolo Motor Show in Brazil.
Onlookers will be greeted by a blacked out grille with matching hood and red eccented foglight surrounds. The wheels likewise receive black center caps, as do the running boards. There are Gazoo Racing decals to signify that this truck is special.
More Gazoo Racing badges adorn the headrests in the cabin. The start/stop button also gets this, as do other places in the interior. The division’s black and red theme can also been seen in here via red stitching on the black leather seats. And a plate on the center console shows the production number of this limited-run offering.
Yes, the Toyota Hilux GR Sport Limited Edition will only be produced 420 times and will be sold in the Lati American market beginning in early 2019.
