The UCPB GEN Black Box trumps your typical motorcar insurance, according to test observations

Over a month ago, UCPB GEN launched its comprehensive car insurance program called Black Box. As previously explained in our news bit, the UCPB GEN Black Box isn’t your typical motorcar insurance package as it utilizes high-tech gizmos to provide factual information that can be of great use to resolve road crash incidents and insurance claiming issues.

After that press launch event, UCPB GEN conducted a 1-month free trial of the Black Box on some of the attendees. Thankfully, none of the volunteers encountered accidents. In fact, many have observed that the UCPB GEN Black Box package provided more than just data from everyday driving.

Firstly, many have testified that the Black Box device itself was practically easy to install. Powered by VTEL, the Black Box device only needs to be installed inside the engine bay. It feeds on the car’s battery power in order to work.

Some did find it a bit tricky to install, though as their cars’ batteries are covered with protective plastic panels that kind of got in the way. But with a few adjustments, their Black Box devices were installed properly.

When connected to the UCPB GEN Black Box Insurance app, the insurance program and the device shine with a multitude of benefits that many volunteers have experienced firsthand, aside from the app’s user-friendliness. These include...

  • Increased driving efficiency due to the package’s pointing system (the more moderately the driver behaves on the road, the higher the points)
  • Increased awareness of the surrounding due to the VTEL device’s sensors that detect other vehicles’ movements like swerving.
  • Easy-accesses historical data that may come in handy for reviewing trips or documenting each and every time and place the vehicle is used and brought to.

Of realities, especially during severe head-on collisions that may result to the Black Box devices’ physical destruction, UCPB GEN has iterated that all the data gathered up to the point of impact can be retrieved via online and with the help of the UCPB GEN help center. This is due to the blow-by-blow update of the GPS and data-gathering systems in the device. The retrieved data, in turn, may be used as evidence in crash investigations or insurance claims.
