With most car companies increasing the warranty coverage of their brand new vehicles from the usual three years, Subaru, thru its official Philippine importer Motor Image Pilipinas Inc. follows suit by giving new car owners a 5-year or 100,000km warranty coverage.

Beginning 1 July 2019, all brand new Subaru vehicles purchased from any of the authorized dealerships will come with the said warranty. This means total peace of mind for drivers that keep their rides for the aforementioned period of time.

While this coverage remains constant throughout the five years (unlike others that decrease the amount of cover as the years progress), owners do need to comply with certain terms and conditions so as not to void the warranty. These include following the Periodic Maintenance Schedule prescribed by Motor Image, as well using only genuine parts. It also isn’t ideal that one perform maintenance at unauthorized service centers.
