Subaru vehicles, as many car nuts will know, are built to last. Not only are these cars put together to withstand the rigors of the World Rally Championship, but they can definitely take on the daily grind with aplomb. So it’s not surprising for Motor Image Pilipinas to hold a contest such as the Search for the Most Seasoned Subaru.
As the name suggests, this is not a beauty contest but one that seeks the Subaru that has withstood the test of time. Any current Subaru is eligible to join, as long as it’s got at least 100,000kms on the odometer and is registered with the LTO. Apart from having run a good number of miles, the vehicle must be aesthetically sound, with no physical damage. And it must be in stock form.
To join, simply log on to http://www.subaru.asia/ph/en/lifestyle/sss.php and fill out the entry form. Upon completion and submission of all requirements, the entry will be sent to Motor Image Pilipinas for scrutiny. Each entry will be judged based on the following criteria:
- 40% for truthfulness of submitted information
- 60% for the vehicle’s exterior, interior and running condition
The grand prize winner will receive the following:
- Authentication Certificate for Motor Image Pilipinas
- A halfpage advertisement featuring the grand prize winner and his/her ride
- P30,000 Travel Gift Certificate
- A year’s supply of Shell VPower Racing fuel
The Search for the Most Seasoned Subaru runs from November 19, 2017 to January 31, 2018. Judging of entries takes place from February 1 to 8, 2018. Winners will be announced shortly thereafter.
