Nissan Shows How Dirt Can Become Art with the Navara Dirt Art Truck

For most folks, a dirty car is a huge no-no. It somehow reflects how careless one is about vehicle care. But for Nissan Philippines Inc and artist John Carlo “JC” Vargas, a dirty truck is actually a work of art.

This can be seen in the Nissan Navara Dirt Art truck exhibit, which  began yesterday, November 4 and will run until tomorrow, November 6 at the Alabang Town Center Activity area. Using the Navara as a blank canvass, the artist shows how the truck looks when dirty.

An architect by profession, Vargas also has a passion for the arts. He even came up with a masterpiece entitled, “Dirty Watercolor”, which as the name suggests, uses unclean river water mixed with watercolor as a medium. Just like this piece, the splashes of dirt have transformed the already good-looking pickup into something else.

Nissan Philippines Inc actually thinks that the Dirt Art shows off the truck’s versatility. It is a testament to how this pickup can tackle both the city and rural environs with ease. And even if it gets dirty, it will still look good doing so.

Catch the #DirtArt, #NissanNavara, #BuiltForBothWorlds exhibit at the Alabang Town Center Activity Area this weekend. It could just change the way you view a dirty ride. And with the rainy season upon us, it could just be the perfect excuse not to wash your car.
