LTFRB Puts P2P Bus Service on Hold

The Point-to-Point (P2P) bus service has been known as a premium way to get around, using a bus that ferries passengers directly to a certain point in the Metro. While the concept seemed really good, the Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB), however, has just announced that it has suspended operations of the said bus routes.

In a Facebook post, the LTFRB said that it has ceased operations of P2P routes for SM North EDSA, Trinoma, Eton Centris, SM Megamall, and Glorietta 5. Apart from thanking the public for patronizing the service, along with apologizing for its decision, the LTFRB was mum about why it came out with the said move.

We do hope that the government agency will come up with a better solution, or at the very least, iron out the kinks so it can re-launch the P2P program. The Filipino riding public deserves nothing less.
