Uber in the Philippines just unveiled new uberHop stations at the various Megaworld Lifestyle Malls last February 8, 2017.
Capitalizing on the innovative uberHOP service, which essentially traverses predetermined destinations, this one gets a bit more specific by using the various Megaworld Malls as pickup and drop-off points. To make things a bit easier, the service can be availed during peak hours both in the morning and early evening.
From 6am to 9am, for instance, riders coming from Mcdo Ortigas Ave Extension in Pasig can go straight to BPI Orchard Rd in Eastwood City. Other routes include: BPI Orchard Rd in Eastwood to Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City; MRT Ayala to Metrobank Upper McKinley Rd in Fort Bonifacio; and LRT 2 in Santolan to BPI Orchard Rd in Eastwood.
At night, particularly from 6pm to 9pm, uberHOP will be available from BPI Orchard Rd in Eastwood to Mcdo Ortigas Extension in Pasig; BPI Orchard Rd, Eastwood to LRT 2 Santolan; Uptown Place Tower 2 in BGC to 711 One Orchard Rd, Eastwood; and Metrobank Upper McKinley Rd, Fort to MRT in Ayala.
For a flat rate of P50, riders can share their Uber with others going in the same direction and to the exact same drop-off point. Moreover, they can feel secure that they will arrive at their destination in a safe and convenient manner. And they even did their little bit to help #SolveTraffic.
The new uberHOP service is part of the ridesharing app provider’s way of making it extremely safe and easy to get to and from the various Megaworld Lfestyle Malls. This not only makes it a breeze for shoppers to go to their favorite malls, but it likewise makes life more pleasant for those who usually take these routes to and from work each and every day. And yes, it is Uber’s way of lessening the number of cars on the road—hopefully translating to less traffic.
