For most people, a bus or a truck is just that—a huge form of transport to ferry a large number of people or tons of cargo. But did you know that these very same vehicles can be a blank canvass to create other types of customized conveyances?
This is what Hino Motors Philippines Corporation (HMP) shows the world with its diverse lineup of projects that showcase the different ways one can utilize a bus or truck body. And we’re not simply talking about vehicles here. Some trucks are used as Outside Broadcasting (OB) vans by various media organizations. This means fitting the truck with special equipment engineered into the design for seamless operation.
The Hino Grandeza tourist bus, on the other hand, can be used as either a mobile court or hospital. The former has been commissioned by local government units like Quezon City and the like to bring court proceedings to remote places to help speed up the judicial process. The latter, meanwhile, even comes with an operating room and medical equipment to help save lives in the same remote areas.
Hino Motors Philippines has been building state-of-the-art trucks and buses for over 40 years. The customization projects have been going on since 2004, for products like the aforementioned mobile court. And with each project taking anywhere from 45 to 60 days to complete, it wouldn’t be surprising to see more cool designs from the company in the yeas to come.
