When one thinks of Rolls-Royce, the usual color choices that come to mind are Nautical Blue, a shade of grey, perhaps, and White. Of course, there are clients who specify their own color palette. It is, after all, the privilege of Bespoke Design.
One such patron is car collector Michael Fux. He recently took delivery of a Rolls-Royce Dawn finished in a special color known as Fuxia, at no less than the 2017 Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach, California.
The Dawn in Fuxia was inspired by a flower that Mr Fux found at the very same lawn around a year ago. He was so fascinated with the vibrant colors that he presented it to the Bespoke Design Team, challenging them to come up with a color palette just like it. The result is this car.
Michael Fux is no stranger to Rolls-Royce and Bespoke color choices. Last year, he got first Dawn, rendered in his signature Fux Blue. He is one of those patrons who commissioned around 10 Rolls-Royce motor cars with their own special hue. These include shades such as Fux Intense Jade Pearl, Fux Aequus Green Jade Pearl and Cornish White Jade Pearl, Fux Deep Purple, Fux Candy Red, and Fux Yellow.
