Delegates to the 2018 Hyundai Global Commercial Vehicle Service Conference sported “inabel Iloco” scarves, lending local flavor to the conference while underscoring the year’s theme, “Weaving New Frontiers for Growth in the CV business.” This is the first time that HARI has hosted a global CV service conference. HARI is on its second year distributing Hyundai CVs. Leading the group were HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo and HMC General Manager for After Sales Dong Keun Kwon (2nd row, center).
A lot of ASEAN economies, just like our very own, are growing as of late. This can be seen in things like the strong demand for vehicles that cater to the booming transport, logistics, construction, and business sectors. Hyundai Asia Resources Inc, the official Philippine distributor of Hyundai vehicles, echoes this sentiment as it recently hosted the Hyundai Global Commercial Vehicle Service Conference.
Held last April 24 and 25 at the Solaire Resort and Casino, the two-day conference brought together delegates from 36 countries that represent Hyundai Motor Company’s Commercial Vehicle network. Discussions and workshops focused on the importance of After-Sales service and providing safe, reliable, and durable commercial vehicles that cater to a wide range of needs.
Centering around the theme Weaving New Frontiers for Growth in the Commercial Vehicle Business, the conference featured workshops that discussed topics such as parts operation strategies, the Hyundai service agenda, and the like. Delegates also got to tour the Hyundai Logistics Center in Calamba, Laguna.
This is the first time the annual event took place in the Philippines. It further reinforces the growing demand for commercial vehicles in the country—something that HARI hopes to cater to in the near future.
