Castrol is best known by many as a maker of some of the best motor oils and lubricants in the business. Yet it has also been hard at work in its search for the top motorbike mechanics in the land. Hence the Partner for Life program, which will have its National Finals on November 24, 2018 at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City.
Kicking off earlier this year, the Partner for Life program has seen some 4,700 participants vie for the title of Top Mechanic Team. Each of participants have undergone training at various Partner for Life Centers and have honed their skills in areas such as Basic Electronic Fuel Injection for Scooters, Bearing and Lubrication Training (together with Koyo Bearings), motorcycle troubleshooting guide, and customer service.
Each of the centers located across the country then looked for the best of the best, weeding out the top breass that would then go on to compete in the regional events. Here, the teams underwent written and practical tests, as well as troubleshooting test. The top two teams would then face off in the National Finals.
Catch the teams as they go thru the maintenance and troubleshooting rounds. The team that emerges victorious will then go on to face others in the Asia Pacific region at the 2019 Asia Pacific Mechanic Contest. The National Finals will be open to the public on Novembr 24, 2018.
