2019 is just around the corner. But things for the local automotive scene next year are starting to take shape as early as now. Case in point, there will be a big motoring event called the Manila Autocon (Manila Automotive Convention) which will happen in January next year, January 31 to February 3, 2019 to be exact at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The 2019 Manila Autocon is organized by Beepbeep.ph, an online gateway to connect car owners and their inquiries to the appropriate establishments concerning car tune ups and services. To some people, the Manila Autocon may come off as yet another typical car show. But this is the very first automotive convention-cum-exhibit in the country, and that's what makes it click.

What makes the Manila Autocon the much-anticipated big event that it is, are its 2 components. The first of which is an elaborate convention/symposium that brings together many of the local motoring industry’s movers and shakers. These include industry entrepreneurs, thought leaders, game changers, and innovators.

Many important topics are expected to be tackled. In fact, Beepbeep.ph’s CEO Anton Ojeda was even quoted as saying, “We have lined up a formidable selection of resource persons to share valuable insights about digitalization, business expansion, new technology, consumer trends, and public relations in the automotive realm. It’s all about getting the industry up to speed on best practices and cutting-edge technology that will help shape and assure our future in mobility.”

The second component, on the other hand, is a huge car and accessories exhibit featuring car displays (of course), car/accessories auctions, celebrity performances for entertainment, and more. What makes this stand out is the way Beepbeep.ph structured the exhibit. It’s not your typical “for your eyes only” car show.

On that regard, Ojeda said the exhibit will have, “Booths promoting B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumers/Customers) opportunities, marketing and operations executives, enthusiasts, and the general public to learn best practices about, take stock of, discuss, and grow our automotive industry and its attached businesses.”

Best part is that renowned Filipino-American wrestler Dave “Batista” Bautista Jr. Will grace the occasion and be one with the car community and celebration the automotive passion.

These and a whole lot more at the 2019 Manila Autocon.
