After its Manila launch last August, Isuzu Philippines Corporation takes the most modern iteration of the D-Max, the LS-A, to the Visayas.
Debuting at the Mountain Wing Atrium of the SM Seaside in Cebu, visitors got the chance to see the stylish pickup for the very first time.
Moreover, the public was given the opportunity to get up close and personal via a test drive event dubbed Tough Enough.
As the name suggests, this showcased just how capable the D-Max LS-A 4x4 variant is.
While it may be a looker with its dark grey accents, upgraded alloy rims and other touches, the truck is still an Isuzu at heart.
This means it runs on a relable, potent, and fuel efficient 4JJ1-TCX 3.0-liter diesel motor with BluePower technology that pushes out 177hp and 380Nm of torque.
Initially available with a 4x4 drivetrain, it can be had in either 6-speed AT with sequential shift or 6-speed MT with shift indicator.
The power and prowess of the engine and the pickup itself were demonstrated during the test drive where participants got the sample just how rugged yet refined the ride can be.
Now, folks from the Visayas can also experience the Isusuz D-Max LS-A for themselves at their Isuzu dealer.
