The recently concluded 2016 Car of the Year-Philippines and Truck of the Year-Philippines, organized by the Car Awards Group inc, together with Carmudi.com.ph, and KPMG R.G Manabat & Co,, saw a slew of winners from various car brands. One of the big winners this year is Suzuki Philippines.
The Japanese automotive and motorcycle company bagged two awards in the prestigious tilt. The Suzuki Super Carry took home the Best Commercial Utility Vehicle trophy. Its fine mix of a tough chassis wrapped in a small and easy-to-maneuver body makes it the perfect tool for the trade—especially in the Metro’s cramped confines. Plus, its thrifty diesel engine is no slouch when it comes to hauling heavy loads.
The Suzuki Ciaz, on the other hand, walked away with the Best Subcompact award. Wrapped in a stylish shell, the sleek subcompact packs a decently-powerful 1.4-liter four-cylinder motor and a load of kit that make every trip enjoyable and safe. It’s for those that are looking for a daily driver but aren’t too keen on the usual suspects.
