After three grueling test days, hundreds of instrumented test runs, and a thousand qualitative drives, the 2016 Car of the Year-Philippines (COTY-PH) and Truck of the Year-Philippines (TOTY-PH) is about to be revealed. The awards night will happen on Monday, November 21, 2016 in Makati City.
Organized by the Car Awards Group Inc (CAGI), the largest group of motoring journalists in the country, together with KPMG R.G Manabat & Co, and Carmudi.com.ph, this year’s COTY-PH and TOTY-PH saw a total of 72 vehicles from 25 brands vying for 19 coveted awards. With a total value of roughly P160 million, this year’s field of vehicles includes two new categories, namely, Wagon and Commercial Utility Vehicle segments. From the winners will come the overall Car and Truck of the Year 2016.
