As we reported over the weekend, the much-awaited 2016 Car of the Year-Philippines (COTY-PH) and Truck of the Year-Philippines (TOTY-PH) Awards Night was just around the corner. And now, the winners have finally been revealed.
After three test days and rigorous qualitative and quantitative testing, the all-new Honda Civic RS Turbo comes out on top as the Philippine Car of the Year for 2016. The Truck of the year-Philippines, meanwhile, was the Isuzu D-Max 3.0 4x2 LS Organized by the Car Awards Group Inc (CAGI), together with Carmudi.com.ph, and KPMG R.G Manabat & Co,, this year’s field saw a total of 72 vehicles of different makes models, and categories vying for various awards and a slew of special honors.
In the end, the Honda Civic RS Turbo bested the lot with its fine mix of performance, comfort, and style. The D-Max, on the other hand, combines a tough and rugged demeanor with everday usability.
