HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, toasted to 50 years of the Hyundai brand. HARI was awarded HMC Global Distributor of the Year 2016 during the Global Distributors Convention held May 10, 2017 at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul.
Hyundai Asia Resources Inc (HARI) continues to reap the rewards of its hard work. The official Philippine distributor of Hyundai vehicles recently reported that March 2017 sales—pegged at 3,371 units—were the highest monthly output in the firm’s colorful 15-year history, as well as first quarter vehicle output rising by 18% to 8,841vehicles, vis-à-vis the same period last year. Now, the Korean automotive distributor has another reason to celebrate.
HARI once again bagged the Global Distributor of the Year award, which was bestowed by Hyundai Motor Company. The awarding was held at the Global Distributors Convention at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. This is the second time that HARI won the prestigious title, with the first one in 2010.
Receiving the honor was no less than HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo. Joining Ms. Perez-Agudo were HARI Chairman Emeritus Richard L. Lee and Chairman Edward S. Go. The Global Distributor of the Year title is a further testament to HARI’s excellence when it comes to sales, aftersales, and customer relations. It is a nod to the Filipino entrepreneurial spirit that puts excellence and customer satisfaction at the core of its operations.
Moreover, the latest award is a challenge to HARI to push even harder to meet the demands of an ever-changing automotive landscape. In her acceptance speech, Ms. Perez-Agudo notes, “We are ready to bring new business and economic value… to take our partnership with Hyundai Motor Company to greater heights… to strengthen Hyundai brand presence in the ASEAN. Together, with Hyundai Motor Company, we raise the Hyundai banner strong and proud in the Philippines and Southeast Asia!”
