6th Transport and Logistics Philippines Expo highlights the importance of transport solutions to boost economy, establish a solid future

The huge events area of the World Trade Center in Pasay City recently played host to the 6th Transport and Logistics Philippines expo. The said event showcased hundreds of displays, all geared toward boosting the country’s economy by way of highlighting a wide variety of transport and logistical solutions for business.

With this in mind, the 6th Transport and Logistics Philippines Expo showcased commercial vehicles, trucks, and other related products from such names as include Chevron Philippines Inc., Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc., JVF Commercial And Project Development Support And Services, MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corp., Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation – Fuso, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum, Sobida Motors Corporation, All Prime International, Auto Global Inc. (JMC), Autokid, BSB Junrose Autoparts, Cheska Freight, Dennis International Merchandising, G-Tecnica Equipment Corporation, Hino Motors Philippines, Honda Logistics Philippines, Inteluck, JAC Automobile, Japan Venture, Monark Equipment, Prime Quest Transport, United Asia Automotive Group (Foton), ZL Machinery Philippines, and many more.

“Since we started five years ago, it has been the goal to help brands connect and engage with various stakeholders in the industry,” shared Patrick Lawrence Tan, CEO of Global-Link MP Events International, Inc., a company which has been on the helm of the event since day 1.

With an event as huge as this, it’s not surprising that an elaborate list of notable people would be invited to grace the occasion. Atop the list was Senator Grace Poe who is now the country’s Committee Chair for Public Services.

This year’s Transport and Logistics Philippines is the second expo held under the Duterte Administration. As such, all its displays and exhibitors related events were tailored to fit the President’s “Build, Build, Build Program,” as well as the Department of Transportation’s Eco-PUV Modernization Program.

Finally, the event also hosted the 2nd Transport and Logistics Philippines Forum. For this year, the forum touch on important topics aimed at establishing the future developments set for the logistics and supply chain sectors. Key topics include BBB Towards a Stronger Transport & Logistics industry PPP Unsolicited Proposals, The role in Philippines’ Economic Development, Improving Philippines’ Connectivity and Efficiency in Supply Chain, Internet of Things (IoT) and Future of Supply Chain Management, and Exploring Transport Innovations: and Engine Coolant Technology.
