Ever since Subaru started rolling out its Viziv concepts a few years back, the Japanese carmaker has been showing us what we can expect from its stable within the next few years. The last one, the Viziv Performance shown at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, was said to have taken inspiration from the rally-bred Imprezas of yore.
Now, the Subaru Viziv Tourer Concept makes its way to the Geneva Motor Show. Just like its sedan sibling, this wagon draws upon the brand’s motorsport genes, albeit in a futuristic way. At 7,775mm long, 1,930mm wide, and 1,435mm tall with a 2,730mm long wheelbase, the Viziv Tourer looks to play in the midsize wagon class.
Subaru is still mum about the other details, save for saying that the concept will be powered by a boxer engine and have symmetrical all-wheel drive. Apart from this, the next-gen EyeSight system will allow for semi-autonomous mobility and keep passengers and other road users safe.
While it is too early to tell, it looks like the Viziv Tourer could turn out to be the next-gen Imprez wagon or Levorg. Either way, we hope it hits the production floor real soon.
