If you’re not a fan of four-door coupes, then we suggest you skip this article and read something else. Because this one talks about the newly-launched Audi RS5 Sportback that makes its world debut at the New York Auto Show.

As mentioned above, this one is the Sportback model based on the svelte A5 Coupe. This number, though, adds two rear doors and a swoopy fastback profile. It likewise lowers the car by as much as 7mm, adds a few millimeters on the sides, and gives it bigger wheels and more aerodynamic kit such as larger air intakes. The result is a more aggresvie stance.

The spacious cabin gets the patented Audi Virtual Cockpit that gives the occupants Apple CarPlay and Andoird Auto. There is also a slew of connectivity options to sync your mobile devices and lifestyle while on the move.

The sexy Sportback gets the 2.9-liter turbo V6 that puts out 444hp and 600Nm of twist. This will power the RS5 Sportback from rest to 100kph in less than 4 ticks and hit a top speed of 250kph. Buyers can opt for the Dynamic Plus Package that ups the terminal velocity to 280kph. An 8-speed Tiptronic auto powers all four corners via Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive.

Audi will show off the RS5 Sportback at the New York Auto Show which begins March 28.
