Ford Philippines recently held its inter-dealership competition called Skills Olympics at the Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati. Running under the theme “Battle of the Toughest,” this annual event highlighted the skills and talents of the brand’s workforce from its various dealerships nationwide.

Over 300 Ford Philippines personnel took the challenge this year. They were presented with a set of practical and technical challenges, all geared toward delivering and improving top-notch customer service.

Among these challenges include competitions for the best Service Advisor and Service Manager. There were also skill competitions for Dealer Customer Relation Center (DCRC), Parts and Warranty, and more technical-oriented challenges.

Competitions aside, the Ford Skills Olympics is also the avenue for the brand to further develop the skills of its workforce as a whole and to promote camaraderie among its people.

“Customer service is top priority for us in Ford. With the Ford Skills Olympics, we are able to showcase the talents and skills of our dealership employees and learn from best practices while promoting friendly competition. It allows us to benchmark our own skills and capabilities in customer handling processes with a shared goal of improving customer experience in our dealerships nationwide,” said Bertrand Lessard, Ford Philippines Managing Director.
