For any car enthusiast, the M badge is is already a very good way of adding more oomph to any BMW model. But attaching Competition to the moniker simply changes everything. Case in point is the latest BMW M2 Coupe, the M2 Competition.

Officially unveiled by the folks from Munich, the latest M car to flaunt the Competition badge sports more than just a name. It starts out with a 3.0-liter TwinPower turbo inline-6 motor putting out 410hp and 550Nm of torque. This is good for a 0-100kph sprint time pf 4.2 seconds, reaching a governed top speed of 250kph. All that power is sent to the drive wheels through either a 6-speed manual or the M Double Clutch Transmission.

This being an M car, it gets goodies like M Sport brakes for added stopping force, high-precision Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic bulkhead and struts for added rigidity, new Kidney Grille and front apron for improved cooling, and dual exhausts with electric flaps for that racy soundtrack.

Inside, the driver and passenger are treated to M Sport bucket seats, as well as M2 badges that illuminate for that cool vibe. Adding to the fun of driving are the new toggle switches that allow the driver to immediately call up settings for engine, steering, suspension, and even the DCT gearbox. This will surely help bring out the competitive spirit in the driver.

The BMW M2 Competition is now available to order and comes in a sporty Hockenheim Silver paint finish.
