It’s a given that with every facelifted model from Porsche, different variants are introduced down the line throughout the vehicle’s life cycle.

The new Macan Turbo is just one example.

Following the launch of the Macan and Macan S last year, it now packs a few goodies that make it perform better.

In keeping with true Porsche fashion.

The heart of t all is  the more potent 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 derived from the Cayenne S.

This one may be down on displacement from the other versions’ 3.0-liter mill. Yet is packs more punch at 440hp and 550Nm of torque.

Mated to a 7-pseed PDK gearbox and Porsche’s all-wheel drive system it blasts the sporty CUV from rest to 100kph in 4.3 seconds and on to a 270kph top speed.

Handling the added power are stuff like Porsche Active Suspension Management, 20-inch alloys, optional torque vectoring system, sport exhaust, and the new Surface Coated Brakes.

The last bit promises better stopping power, less wear, and reduction in brake dust accumulation.

Plus, owners can opt for more kit like air suspension, 21-inch wheels, and the like.

The latter accessory should match nicely with the newly-designed front air intakes, side skirts, rear light bar connecting the taillights, and roof spoiler.

The cabin likewise gets a subtle refresh in the form of 18-way power-adjustable seats, Alcantara headliner, 14-speaker Bose sound system, and Qi wireless phone charging.

You can now order the new Porsche Macan Turbo—if you live in Europe, that is.
