It was a morning of fun, fitness, and the opportunity to help the Filipino youth attain an education for a brighter future. We refer to the 8th AmCham ScholaRUN, a fun run organized by Chevron Philippines Inc, marketer of Caltex fuels and lubricants, Chevron Holdings Inc, and the American Chamber of Cmmerce Foundation Philippines, held last March 3, 2019 at Central Park, SM Seaside Complex in Pasay City.

The event saw some 4,000 Chevron and AmCham employees participate in 3km, 5km, and 10km races. The proceeds from the event will help fund scholarship programs for numerous highschool students, as well as provide uniforms, books, and other materials. The program likewise gives on the job training and employment assistance to these underprivileged yet deserving individuals.

Since 1986, AmCham has been funding various programs to help the youth. It has sent numerous young men and women to school, not to mention helped them graduate and land fulfilling jobs both her and abroad.
