Find out if your Nissan vehicle is affected by the Takata airbag issue

Since 2015, various automotive manufacturers have been conducting recalls due to safety issues brought about by defective Takata airbags installed in millions of vehicles. Nissan is one of these and its local counterpart, Nissan Philippines Inc., is calling on its customers to have their vehicles’ airbags replaced free of charge at their nearest dealership.

As per NPI’s data, the affected vehicles include: Nissan Grand Livina (2008-2014), Nissan Navara (2007-2015), Nissan Frontier (2003-2007), Nissan Teana (2006-2007), Nissan X-Trail (2003-2014), and Nissan Patrol Super Safari (2003- 2017).

To know if your vehicle is part of the safety recall, you may check the Nissan website at www.nissan.ph, click on Owners, , then click on Service Campaign, and enter your Vehicle Identification Number. . You may also visit your friendly Nissan dealer or call (02) 403-65-93 or 0927-600-9557 to schedule a service appointment.
