Ford Philippines continues its sales charge in August with 1,708 units delivered. The Blue Oval brand’s strong performance during the ghost month was once again led by equally stellar showing by the Ranger, Everest, and EcoSport.

The Ranger pickup led the way with 898 units delivered. This brings its year-to-date sales to 7,616 examples, translating to a 16 percent rise over last year’s figures. Its Everest platform twin SUV saw 391 units leave showroom floors. This was good for a 3,979 unit total year-to-date standing.

Following closely in third spot was the EcoSport with 331 units. This brought its year-to-date sales to 3,989 units. As for the erstwhile Mustang, it sold 29 units in August, pushing total sales for 2018 up 23 percent to 314 units.

All told, Ford really looks posed to have another awesome year as we wind down toward the end of 2018.
