It has been a long-standing tradition of many car companies to give a little love during the Christmas season. Many of them usually spread cheer to our less fortunate brethren via gift-giving in various communities throughout the country. Just like what Ford Philippines has been doing for quite some time now.

Last year, you may recall that the Blue Oval brand deployed its EcoSport to take on Santa sleigh duties, delivering gifts and holiday cheer to the Gawad Kalinga Jose Rizal Village in Calamba, Laguna. Some 200 children were given a load of gifts during that outing.

This year, it’s the Ranger’s turn to haul gifts and love as it headed to a Gawad Kalnga community in Trece Martires, also in the province of Cavite. The place, which is located at the outskirts of Metro Manila, is home to quite a number of children and their families.

The kids, aged 3 to 13 years old,, each received goodies that not only put a smile on their faces but hope in their heart.  They were likewise treated to games like The Longest Line, as well as a team building activity. And of course, the exciting part was the handing out of gifts by Santa Claus himself.

And this is what Ford Philippines and Gawad Kalinga each hope to achieve—to build a brighter future for all. And by playing Santa each Christmas, both entities let everyone know that giving love on Christmas day is truly the best gift anyone can give.
