With the recent inauguration of the Hyundai Dream Center Philippines, located at the Hyundai Logistics Center in Calamba, Laguna, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc comes a step closer to providing a brighter future for underprivileged yet deserving Filipinos as well as giving its customers even better service.

A partnership between HARI, Hyundai Motor Group, and Plan International, the Dream Center in the country is the first-ever facility of its kind to be designed by a local distributor. This means HARI was given the freedom to tailor the place and the amenities to suit the local environment yet still keeping intact the spirit of Hyundai that is well-known throughout the world.

This likewise applies to the courses of the Vocational Technical Training facility. With 45 male and female students making up the first batch, these deserving men and women are given a chance to pursue a fulfilling career in the automotive industry—the ultimate goal of Hyundai.

Apart from helping these underprivileged youths, HARI aims to uplift the quality of the local automotive industry by offering training that is at par with those offered abroad yet still suited for the local scene. “You are not just sharing the competencies of your experts, you are not just upgrading the skills of your workers and scholars, most importantly, you are improving the quality of life of the Filipino workforce,” said Mylene Somera, Supervising Specialist, TESDA Women’s Center.

With this, we can expect even better service from Hyundai within the near future.
