Hyundai Asia Resources Inc (HARI), official Philippine distributor of Hyundai vehicles, seems to be taking its passion for the arts very seriously these days. First was a management workshop with no less than the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) helping HARI officials and employees unleash their creative side. Now, the Korean carmaker has just announced an Open Call to hold a Digital Art Competition.

The two-part Digital Art Competition is open to both students and professionals, aged 18 and above, who are engaged in or have a knack for the digital arts. The first part of the contest involves the pre-screening process where 12 finalists will be selected—that’s six students and six professionals.

The students must be enrolled in any accredited educational institution for the current schoolyear, while professionals must come from the creative field of any industry. The 12 shortlisted finalists will each receive a certificate, P15,000, and opportunities to express their creativity via print or online features. Moreover, they will attend a workshop facilitated by some of the best names in both storytelling and creatives.

The entries who can best depict the theme Vision of Future Self will receive trophies, along with P80,000 for the Gold Award, P60,000 for Silver, and P40,000 for Bronze. More importantly for any creative, their work wil be exposed to billboards, various merchandise, and more.

Interested? Log on to digitalart.hyundai.ph to learn more. Entries must be submitted on or before October 13, 2017.
