Heads-up: Ford adjusts pricing for the Ranger Raptor

If you’re in the market for the new Ford Ranger Raptor, you might want to read this. Ford Philippines has announced that it will adjust the pricing of its top-spec performance pickup beginning this March.

Effective March 1, 2019, the Ranger Raptor will retail for P1,998,000. That’s a P100,000 increase over the introductory price of P1,898,000. Ford Philippines did announce, however, that all customers who reserved their unit prior to the 1st of March can still avail of the old price.

While the sticker price did go up slightly, one still gets goodies like a 2.0-liter Bi-turbo diesel motor that puts out 210hp and 500Nm of torque. This is mated to the 10-speed automatic that can be found on the Ranger’s bigger brother for the North American market, the F-150 Raptor. Apart from these, the Raptor also comes with FOX Position Sensitive Damping system that gives it a supple ride while still being able to tackle any terrain, including the harsh Baja Desert.
