Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) recently launched its 2018 line up of trucks and buses. The difference is that starting this year, the Japanese brand’s entire line up will now be Euro 4 compliant.

This means that the entire line up passes strict global emission standards, opening the doors for cleaner, more efficient, and cost effective means of industrial and public transport.

In addition, the debut of HMP’s Euro 4 line up goes in accordance to the Philippines’ beefed up infrastructure plan. HMP pegs that this stronger plan would make room for the advancement of the local trucking industry with more businesses requiring fleets of brand new trucks with cleaner, more efficient and cost-effective engines. Moreover, HMP sees the coming years as the high times for local tourism, which would require more fuel efficient and environment friendly buses on the road.

For this year and beyond, HMP’s truck line up includes Euro 4 compliant refrigerated vans, cargo cranes, dump trucks, cab & chassis trucks, tractor heads, and wing vans. As for its buses, HMP is proud to present the Cerito bus, the Grandeza bus, and the brand’s take on what could be the future of the iconic jeepney called the Hino Jeepney Class 3 AC.

The Hino Jeepney Class 3 AC’s platform follows that of the brand’s mini bus. As such, it’s bigger, has air conditioning, and can carry up to 23 occupants. HMP says that it has designed the Jeepney Class 3 AC to meet the government’s guidelines for its Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Modernization Program.

“Hino is honored to have been given the opportunity to incorporate the ecological innovation to the Hino quality of trucks and buses. As we affirm our commitment to supporting the community, we continue to leverage our ability to assemble quality trucks and buses designed to address the different needs of Filipinos in the most efficient way,” shares HMP President Hiroshi Aoki.
