Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) officially launched the New City Hatchback last June 14, 2024 at Bonifacio High Street. The updated model now boasts updates to its interior and exterior, but more importantly, now also comes with Honda SENSING. This is the follow up to its predecessor that previously held 90% of the B-Segment hatchback market share.
The familiar versatile sportiness of the City Hatchback model has been improved with an updated RS body kit with a new bumper and front grille. It also comes fitted out with 16-inch Berlina Black alloy wheels, with radial, unrestrained spokes to support its sporty image with its large diameter expression.
Honda SENSING will now make rides in the New City Hatchback extra safe, and so making it more fun too. It is Honda’s driver-assist system, developed as a response to the brand’s goal to realize a collision-free society by 2050, providing safer roads for all who use them.
The Honda SENSING features supported on the New City Hatchback are:
- Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
- Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
- Road Departure Mitigation and Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW)
- Auto High Beam (AHB)
