While both the Honda City and Jazz have been marketed as fun yet practica little subcompacts, many Filipinos see them as as the latter, along with being fuel efficient choice for the daily grind. Yet for those folks that desire a sporty vibe from their subcompactr sedan or hatch, Honda Cars Philippines Inc is putting forth the City 1.5 Sport CVT and Jazz 1.5 Sport CVT.
The limited dition models of the City and Jazz boast features that project a more youthful image for each model. The City 1.5 Sport CVT, for instance, features front LED headlights and foglights that make driving safer and give it a more distinctive look. The side profile gets goodies like power folding side mirrors with integrated turn signal repeaters, while the rear receives a ducktail spoiler and Sport badging.
As for the Jazz 1.5 Sport CVT, it gets niceties that were once reserved for the RS version. These include black RS design mirror caps, RS design rear tailgate spoiler, RS-design black alloy wheels, and a Sport emblem at the rear.
The Honda City 1.5 Sport CVT retails for P899,000 and is avaialbe in either Tafetta White or Modern Steel Metallic. The Honda Jazz 1.5 Sport, on the other hand, goes for P933,000 and comes in Sporty Blue. Only 30 units of the Jazz 1.5 Sport CVT will be on offer.
