Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the exclusive distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines, recently accomplished a major endeavour as the official mobility partner of the 2018 FIA Motorsports Conference.
In recap, the FIA Motorsports Conference, which is now on its 6th year, is a series of symposiums and motorsports demos aimed at cultivating 4-wheeled racing to countries all over the world.
Organized by the FIA or the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile in partnership with the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP), the conference saw its first Southeast Asian outing. Best part is that FIA deemed the Philippines as the best place to lay ground, seeing the success of Filipino racers in both the local and international scenes.
For this event, HARI fielded its H350 and Grand Starex vans to chauffer the delegates to and from the venue in Pasay City. What’s quite special about this is the fact that Hyundai itself has been active in motorsports over the last 2 decades. It’s most recent stint being its return to form at the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) which it fields a Hyundai i20 Rally Car driven by Thierry Neuville.
“The cars you see on our roads today are products of the data and technology derived from motorsports events. Hyundai’s engagement with FIA puts a stamp on our never-ending work to make Hyundai innovation ever more accessible to the most diverse markets, and so unlock their potential to get more out of life,” said HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.
