Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) held a fun-filled activity down south at SM City Cebu last August 10 to 12, 2018. Dubbed as the Isuzu 4x4 Xtreme Xperience, this activity is essentially an evolution of the highly successful Isuzu 4x4 Action Playground which the company held last 2017.

Similar to the Action Playground, the Isuzu 4x4 Xtreme Xperience event boasts its centerpiece in the form of an elaborately-constructed rig called the Action Ramp. In its basic definition, the Action Ramp is where the brand’s popular models like the recently launched 2018 D-Max 4x4 is put to the test in terms of reliability and off-road use. It consists of 2 parts; the low ramp and the high ramp that goes across over it.

Brave volunteers can then register and ride shotgun in the D-Max as they are treated to a few minutes of thrill atop the Action Ramp.

The Action Ramp is where the similarity between last year’s and this year’s event ends. The latter has expanded upon the former by featuring better versions of the D-Max. Case in point, this year highlights the vehicles’ new RZ4E turbo diesel engines. More details about this engine are explained on this feature blog, but to put it simple, the Blue Power RZ4E engine is more powerful, more fuel efficient, and more environment friendly than its predecessor.

Aside from that, the Isuzu 4x4 Xtreme Xperience also has a number of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Some of these include a mini car race and coloring activity areas for the kids, a car display area featuring the m-UX and D-Max for those keen on driving home a brand-spanking new 4x4, and lots of food and merchandise stalls for everyone to fill up and be merry.

Of course, IPC saved the best enjoyment for last as the Cebu event also featured performances from dancer/singer Maja Salvador and rock band Urabandub on the event's final day. What’s great about these is that Maja and the band are proud Cebuanos, something the audience can be proud of.

The Isuzu 4x4 Xtreme Xperience Cebu is the first of many legs this year in key cities nationwide. The next will be in Iloilo on September 21 to 23, 2018.

The "Isuzu 4x4 Xtreme Xperience" is organized in partnership with IPC and ICI, which comprises Isuzu Mandaue, Cebu, Talisay, and Bohol. It’s made possible with the help of its sponsors Pilipinas Shell, Standard Insurance, BPI/MS Insurance Corporation, Hawk Trading, LED Works, JoyRide, Nature’s Spring, and Mapfre.
