The month of May was a merry one for Ford Philippines, which recorded sales of 2,110 vehicles during this period. This brought its year to date output to 10,394 units.

Leading the way for the humid summer month was the equally hot-selling Ranger. The pickup was purchased by 1,068 customers,. This brought Ranger sales up by 28 percent over a year ago, with year to date sales rising by 18 percent to 4,375 units. The Ranger’s platform twin, the Everest, likewise sold quite well with 437 units sold in May, bringing year to date sales to 2,695 vehicles. The Ecosport, meanwhile, put out 523 units for the same period for a 2,837 unit year to date output.

It wasn’t just the trio that brought home the bacon for Ford. The newly-launched Mustang also cashed in on customer demand. Some 48 Mustangs rolled out of showroom floors in May.

All told, Ford continues to do well in our market. And as we hit the midyear mark, it looks like the American carmaker is on its way to another stellar year.
