Lalamove partners with Create Good PH on a donation drive for the homeless with Street Store

Lucky are those who are blessed enough to enjoy life’s basic necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, toys for the kids, among others. But some people aren’t as lucky. Reality is that we have fellow Filipinos who are homeless, and relying hugely on kind donations from those who are more fortunate in life... like you.

Yes, you have the capability to lend a huge helping hand, and with Lalamove, you can! You see, an organization called Create Good PH recently partnered with Lalamove, an app-based pick-up-and-delivery service, to set up Street Stores in key locations around the metro.

In basic, the Street Store is a place where in donations in kind are dropped off. Aimed and giving homeless people the gratifying customer experience for free, they can simply drop by the store, choose the items they like, and enjoy life. Here are the Street Stores key drop-off places.

“One of the reasons why we decided to host a Street Store is because of its out of the box idea that challenges the current norm of pre-packed donations. The Street Store doesn’t just help to clothe the homeless, but also it empowers them by giving the retail experience of looking around and choosing their own clothes,” shares Create Good PH founder Jana Bunagan.

How does Lalamove fit in to all these? Simple. Those who have a tight schedule and use the Lalamove app can have their donations picked up and delivered to Street Stores in Metro Manila that’s nearest to them. Just make sure that the goods are neatly prepared and packed presentably. You can use the promo code “GOODPH” to get P100 off.
