Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), the official distributor of Kia vehicles in the Philippines, recently treated a number of its customers to a 4-day trip to South Korea.

The said customers namely Helen Banzuelo (with her daughter), Robert Canlas (with his wife), Raul Montes, and Ronnel Mapaye were among the lucky people awarded with the Korea trip under the brand’s Advocate Program after-sales perk. In brief, the Kia Advocate Program is the Korean carmaker’s way of saying “thank you” to its most loyal customers who’ve displayed notable traits of an exemplary Kia owner.

Ms. Banzuelo, for instance, was picked because of her loyalty to Kia for many years and her purchasing of multiple Kia units for her family. In addition, her record showed that she regularly follows all the preventive maintenance service schedules for the Kia units in her household. Her years of experience with Kia made her confident enough to even recommend the brand to her friends who eventually bought Kia models of their own.

Mr. Canlas, meanwhile, was cited for his blog post which highlighted his great experiences with the Kia Sportage.

Finally, both Mr. Montes and Mr. Mapaya won the Korea trip reward as raffle prizes during Kia’s car club day last July 15, 2017. Adding to their credibilities as rightful winners is their membership in the Picanto Pilipinas auto club, which both men were observed to display active participation in the clubs calendar of events.

The Korea trip was filled with learning experiences and cultural immersion. Aside from experiencing South Korean cuisine, culture, and hospitality, the group were treated to a guided tour of Kia’s global headquarters and Hwaseong assembly plant. They also visited Gyeongbok Palace and the historical Insa-dong neighborhood.
