Ford Philipines continues its streak in the sales charts as three of its erstwhile offerings led the charge for the month of September.

As before, the hot-selling Ranger led the way with 875 units. This brings its year-to-date figures up by 13 percent to 8,491 vehicles. The Everest followed suit with a 421-unit output. This brought its total yearly figures to 4,400 units. As for the little EcoSport, it sold 334 copies, for a 4,323 year-to-date fsales figure.

And of course, the Mustang is still a favorite among aficionados, who bought 32 pony cars for September. This pushed Mustang sales up by 17 percent to 346 units.

Going back to the Ranger, Ford attributes this strong performance to the newly-launched 2019 model with a few exterior and interior tweaks, as well as a host of new engines. The big news is the pair of 2.0-liter turbodiesels, particularly the 2.0-liter bi-turbo that is found in the Wildtrak and the first-ever Ranger Raptor.

With all these, it looks like Ford will be closing 2018 with a bang.
