It’s great to know that Oppo Philippines is putting its A-game in the hotly-contested local smartphone battlefield. And as a proud owner of an Oppo smartphone (A94), this news is awesome the first time I got wind of it. Case in point, the brand just showcased the Find X5 Pro, its latest new flagship with the power and capability to #EmpowerEveryMoment.

The high-end device boasts cutting-edge camera innovations, such as a dedicated imaging Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that empowers users’ nights, easily overcoming a mobile device’s major challenge – night time recording.

Of course, this technology is made possible by Oppo’s partnership with the legendary camera brand Hasselblad, providing moments with on-point and natural colors. It features Hasselblad Natural Color Calibration to give natural and accurate colors in users’ captured moments.  The Hasselblad Camera for Mobile also features a range of creative master filters.

It allows its users to take cinematic panoramas and vintage-like photos with its XPan mode while providing users with a one-of-a-kind experience with its UI and iconic leaf shutter sound. It also leverages a futuristic aesthetic accompanied by premium experiences with its unrivalled performance, ultra-fast 5G connectivity, and incredible SUPERVOOC flash-charging technology

An empowered, levelled-up new kind of night time photo and video experience

Night video is one of the main challenges for smartphones. As a result, beautiful and significant moments remain uncaptured or saved in low quality. To empower the nights, OPPO Find X5 Pro is equipped with a breakthrough in night videography, MariSilicon X. It is OPPO’s self-designed imaging NPU that enables users to record their moments at night in bright and high-quality videos.

The MariSilicon X is built with the most current and powerful AI computing power. It leverages OPPO’s advanced AI noise reduction (AINR) algorithm, which detects and reduces noise in each frame, pixel by pixel, while preserving finer detail, skin tone, and color accuracy.

The 4K Ultra Night Video is integrated into the OPPO Find X5 Pro’s wide and ultra-wide rear cameras that feature Sony’s advanced 50MP IMX766 flagship sensors, which is why it promises the best imaging quality for both stills and videos.

The MariSilicon X also supports the flagship device’s front camera, which boasts a Sony IMX709 sensor. It is to deliver selfies with more texture and on-point color reproduction even in low light conditions.

Available in Ceramic White and Glaze Black, the Find X5 Pro leverages a futuristic design that showcases calmness and a timeless look. The flagship device embodies an ultra-hard, ceramic-based back, which displays clean and modern sophistication, provides a surface texture that minimizes fingerprints and creates a smooth, uniform-inclined back that perfectly cushions the camera module.

 

Its ceramic back is two times stronger than any unconventional glass panel and is more effective for heat dissipation. Furthermore, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is water and dust resistant with an IP68 rating.

The OPPO Find X5 Series possesses a 6.7-inch ultra-clear curved AMOLED screen. With a WQHD+ resolution and 100% P3 color gamut coverage, the device’s 10-bit screen supports more than one billion colors for an immersive display. It is supported by the first multi-brightness color calibration that boosts display performance and delivers consistent colors. For a more comfortable viewing experience, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is integrated with OPPO’s 8192-level screen dimming, one of the most advanced eye care for smartphones.
