Last November 16, the 4.2 km long Clark International Speedway (CIS) in Pampanga played host to the Tuason Racing Raceday. Sponsored by Giti Tires Philippines, it featured the 2019 Ultra 4 Hours Endurance Race which had Giti Formula V1 racecars, Toyota Vios Cup racecars, and race-ready privately-owned Toyota cars battling it out for 4 grueling hours around the track. It was a true test of man and machine, and a real proving ground to show what the Giti brand of tires is capable of.

Before the exciting endurance race went underway, Phoenix PULSE, the event’s official fuel partner, opened the track to let over a hundred high-performance and supercar owners enjoy their rides around the high-speed circuit. Then at 1:00 pm, the lights went green for the opening laps of the Ultra 4 Hours Endurance Race.

A bevy of intense moments transpired during the race; some close racing action, drag racing to the line, driver changes and refueling, and a few close calls. But all in all, the event was a resounding success with everyone having loads of fun on and off the track. The 2019 Giti Formula V1 Challenge may be over, but the best things are still on the horizon for Tuason Racing and Formula V1, the most accessible top-tier motorsport in the country today. Below is a list of the enduro’s top 3 finishers.

Tuason Racing Raceday is the culminating event for the Giti-Formula V1 race calendar and supported by GITI Tires, Phoenix Pulse Fuels, AEG Powertools, West Race Cars, OMP, Oakley, ROTA Wheels, Eurasia, Donpapa, ESPN Sports 5 and Family Mart!
