Ireland-based racing team Pinnacle Motorsport is on a roll to fire start 2019 with a bang as it enters this year’s F3 Asian Winter Series. In partnership with Teng Tools, Motorsport Ireland, B-Max Racing Team, and Seth Ascetic, it will go into battle with an all-star cast of racing drivers namely Amaury Cordeel, Akash Nandy, and David Schumacher.

As the son of ex-F1 driver Ralf Schumacher, David is no stranger to the thrills and spills of single-seat racing. The 17 year old German racer is relatively new to the world of motorsport, but he didn’t disappoint, proving his skills last year when he landed as 1st runner up in the Formula 4 UAE Championship, a stellar performance considering it was his official racing debut. He will race for Pinnacle Motorsport in the first 2 rounds of the 2019 F3 Asian Winter Series.

Akash Nandy of Malaysian descent can be considered as the most skilled among the 3 fresh-faced drivers. Aside from winning a race at Formula Masters Series, he also placed 2nd overall in the 2015 German Formula 3 Cup, and is a formidable racer in the GP3 Series. This year will mark his 2nd stint in the F3 Asian Championship as he also entered battle last year.

Finally, Belgian racer Amaury Cordeel comes as the youngest among the team’s ace drivers. But at just 16 years old, he already built a solid name for himself in motor racing, that being his title-winning feat at the FIA Spanish Formula 4 Championship 2018. This, along with his experience in different Formula 4 racing series in Europe and UAE, makes for a competitive resume to enter this year’s F3 Championship.

The opening round of the 2019 F3 Asian Winter Series will be held on January 11-13 at the Buriram International Circuit in Thailand. There, the team will be joined by DRAGON and Tairoku Yamaguchi in the B-Max Racing Team cars, which are run in collaboration with Pinnacle Motorsport.
