Porsche may be considered an upscale brand by many. Yet this hasn’t stopped the German sports car maker from reaching out to its target audience. In fact, Porsche has just opened its 100th sales site in no less than bustling Guangzhou in China.

Of course, the latest Porsche sales site is no ordinary store. Rather, it is a fully functional Porsche Studio, located in one of the city’s premiere shopping malls. The 460sq.m. facility houses all the necessary amenities that allow prospective owners to get to know the Porsche of their choice a lot better.

There is, for instance, an exhibition area where customers can view the cars in the metal to get a feel for the offerings. Thanks to technology, one can likewise visualize their chosen Porsche—color, wheels, and other features—via scale models taken from clay molds from the Porsche Design Studio.

Working together with the Jebsen Group, which runs the existing Porsche Center in the country, the Porsche Studio naturally allows its target audience to purchase a vehicle directly from the Guangzhou site. It’s the perfect way to reach out to China’s young and hip crowd that usually frequents the shopping district.

Apart from the new Porsche Studio, the German marque will also roll out a new Porsche Experience Center—its sixth—by the second quarter of this year.
