Power Mac Center now offers new Belkin accessories for the latest gen Apple iPhones

Power Mac Center (PMC), the official distributor of Apple products and accessories, in partnership with Belkin Philippines, recently launched new gizmos to protect and bring out the full potential of Apple’s latest iPhone models.

Presenting, the Belkin TrueClear Pro 2.0 tempered glass, the Belkin Wireless Charging Pad, and the Belkin MIXIT DuraTek lightning cable – 3 products specially designed for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8+, and iPhone X. These were unveiled last June 29, 2018 at PMC’s outlet at the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati.

The Belkin TrueClear 2.0 Overlay tempered glass (starts at P1,090) is unique as it not only protects the iPhone’s screen against drops and scratches, it also gives the smart phone a rather more premium look and feel. Best part is that it never hinders the iPhone’s touch screen sensitivity, which is an advantage to those who frequently do business on-the-go.

On the other hand, the Belkin Wireless Charging Pad (starts at P1,690) is a handy device to conveniently charge the iPhone without using cumbersome charging cables that frequently get tangled or lost. What’s special about this wireless charger is that it’s styled to look sleek and minimalist. It can also charge the device, no matter the orientation; portrait, landscape, or anywhere in between. But how does wireless charging work?

The answer is that technological wonder called electromagnetic induction. When the signal generated by the transmitter coil in the charging base senses the one in the receiver coil of the iPhone, the electrons inside the transmitter coil start to flow around it. This generates a magnetic field, which is sensed by the electrons in the receiver coil. The electrons trapped inside the receiver coil then start to flow around it and generate electricity, which eventually powers the iPhone battery.

Lastly, the Belkin MIXIT DuraTek lightning cable (starts at P1,690) is the ideal data cable for the iPhone, if the user absolutely needs to use one. Its highlight feature is its protective double-braided nylon coating that’s reinforced with Kevlar, the same material used in bullet-proofed vests, helmets, and sports gears. This coating protects the lightning cable against breaking or cracking.

These aforementioned Belkin iPhone accessories are now available in all Power Mac Center outlets nationwide.
