Power Mac Center (PMC), the official distributor of Apple products in the Philippines, recently teamed up with renowned landscape and lifestyle photographer Mark Nicdao for the continuation of the #ShotOniPhone series, a worldwide campaign showcasing the imaging capabilities of the iPhone.

The collaboration highlighted Nicdao’s photography works shot using different generations of the iPhone. As it pans out, the iPhone’s photography capabilities are at par with the kind of field Nicdao is in. Over the years, he has captured a multitude of images such as portraits, landscapes, street sceneries, daily life, and more.

By partnering with PMC, Nicdao was able to showcase his works in a recent photo exhibit held at the SM Aura Premier in BGC, Taguig. This proved that the iPhone’s image quality is more than enough to produce clear, sharp large prints.

“What I love about it is its quick and there are already presets. There’s a lot of other things you can play with, depends on what you want to achieve in a photograph. You can definitely have different angles. It captures even the colors of the neon lights. There’s a lot of range to it so it’s a fun way to shoot,” said Nicdao.

His statement holds strong bearing, not only with regard to the result of the photo exhibit, but also with shooting missions focused on one of his specializations – fashion photography. In relation to this, the master lens man put the iPhone X to the test by using it as his main camera for a Moshi magazine cover photo shoot, a partnership between PMC and MEGAstyle.ph. On the cover is PMC brand ambassador and model Mari Jasmine.

Capitalising on the success of its partnership with Nidcao, PMC is on the move again to beef up the #ShotOniPhone campaign with the upcoming #SomewhereOutThere sub campaign. Basically, this invites all iPhone users to head out, have fun, and capture exiting moments like field trips, road trips, or even simple mall strolls with a unique twist the tell stories.

Details of the #ShotOniPHone #SomewhereOutThere campaign will be announced soon. Check out more of Power Mac center on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
