Q by Aston Martin, Inspired by Rowing and Classic Cars

Aston Martin is one of the luxury brands that takes pride in its custom-made Bespoke line. This is seen in cars coming from its Q by Aston Martin division that tailors vehicles to customers’ exacting specifications. Two such examples are the latest creations inspired by the world of rowing and classic cars.

The Aston Martin Henley Royal Regatta DB11 Volante was created specifically to celebrate the annual rowing event. The White Stone exterior paint finish is enhanced by contrasting black on the hood, forged alloy rims, smoked taillights, hood mesh, and anodized brake calipers. The interior, meanwhile, gets Red Oxide Caithness leather, stainless steel cross oar accents, and blue accents that take their cue from the markings of the club’s oars.

If this isn’t your cup of tea, Aston Martin will be offering the DB11 Classic Driver Edition that is a joint project between Q by Aston Martin—Commission and entrepreneur Benjamin Knapp Voith who owns the Classic Driver website.

The exclusive model, which will only have 20 examples to its credit, is meant to celebrate the website’s 20th anniversary.  It receives inspiration from classic cars with green and grey paint schemes and Aston Martin’s very own Charcoal Grey finish from the 1960s. The result is a dark grey color that emits a hint of green when exposed to sunlight.

More green can be seen on the inside via the Eifel Green Caithness leather seats, dash, and steering wheel. The volante takes things a step further with its Westminster Green fabric roof while all cars get the Classic Driver logo with Parliament Green stitching on the headrests. All this is capped off by the Classic Driver logo on the sill plaques and fenders.

The Aston Martin Henley Royal Regatta DB11 will be on display at the annual event that runs from July 4-8 at the Henley-on-Thames. The DB11 Classic Driver Edition, on the other hand, will only have a limited production run of 20 copies.
